Project Requirements
To earn American Board of Pediatrics Part 4 Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit each physician agrees to the following:
- Participants will need to attend at least 3 out of 5 scheduled 1-hour monthly webinars live to share data and best practices across participating sites. Participants should view webinar recordings for sessions they cannot attend live.
- Participants should contribute to practice PDSA cycle and data collection.
To earn MOC Part 4 credits each practice team agrees to the following:
- Practices are encouraged to establish a team to engage in the project, which may include physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and practice managers. The practice team should designate one physician as the local leader.
- Practice teams should have at least one person in attendance live at 4 out of the 5 scheduled webinars to share data and best practices across participating sites.
- Practices should complete at least one Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) cycle and share at least one Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) cycle with other practices during a project webinar.
- Practices should collect and submit practice-level data on project measures for 5 monthly data cycles (baseline and 4 project data collection cycles).

This project will run from March 12, 2026 through August 26, 2026. The sessions will be held on the following dates:

Thursday, March 12 12pm-1pm	Project Onboarding Clinical Topic: Overview of Hepatitis B Disease Burden and AAP’s Hepatitis B Vaccine Recommendations QI Topics: Model for Improvement, Monthly Data Collection Process, and Instructions
Wednesday, April 15 12pm-1pm	Clinical Topic: Having Productive Hepatitis B Vaccine Conversations with Families QI Topics: Model for Improvement, PDSA Tests
Wednesday, May 27 12pm-1pm	Clinical Topic: Hepatitis B Vaccine Ordering, Storage, and Handling QI Topics: Scaling PDSAs, Data Review, Interactive Discussion
Wednesday, June 24 12pm-1pm	Clinical Topic: Utilizing IIS and EHR Functionalities to Support Vaccine Coverage QI Topics: Leading Change, Data Review, Interactive Discussion
Wednesday, July 29 12pm-1pm	Clinical Topic: Illinois Support for Hepatitis B Vaccines and Ensuring Patient Access QI Topics: Sustainability, Data Review, Interactive Discussion
Wednesday, August 26 12pm-1pm	Final PDSA Roundtable Clinical Topic: Making Lasting and Sustainable Change QI Topics: Data Review, Celebration of Achievements
